Before You Order - Picture Mount - Single or Double
Single Mounts
If you choose to use one Mount, try using a neutral colour. This can be Ivory or White. Neutral tones will enhance any subject; but play with the system before simply going with Ivory or White.
Double Mounts
If you have decided to use a double mount, it’s best to use a neutral colour for the MAIN mount. For the “BASE,” (the mount nearest your artwork) try matching this mount to a dominant colour in the Subject. This can add new dimension to a subject. Keeping all your mounts the same colour will soften the layers incredibly well. Try to avoid colour transitions that are extreme – choosing a BASE mount of red with a MAIN mount of Dark blue, might be too much for the eyes!
