Winner - Birds Photo Competition
April takes us well into the Spring season, fresh buds blooming and animals awakening for the warmer months, Spring is full of new beginnings, with birds being no different. Everywhere we look we see hatchlings and baby birdlings. That’s why we loved to see your wide variety of bird photos this month. We really did receive a phenomenal amount of entries which made the choice doubly hard.

A special congratulations go out to our winner Clare McEwen whose entry of a stunning Rainbow Lorikeet grabbed the attention of our judges straight away with its sharp focus and harmonious summer colours. Birds runner-up, Bett Atherton, submitted a superb shot of an open-mouthed Cormorant on the water.
