August's Photography Competition Winner

August's Photography Competition Winner

We had loads of fantastic entries into August’s ‘Symmetry’ Photography Competition; from animal reflections to symmetrical architecture, twins to lake landscape reflections, it was great for our judges to see the ways in which people had approached the theme.

Visit our Facebook page to see all of August’s entries in our album.

As with previous month’s all of our top 10 entries receive £10 worth of framing vouchers, the runner up will receive a £50 voucher and our winner a £100 voucher to use with us here at Frames Express.
Now to announce our winner and runner-up in our Symmetry photography competition….

Winner

By Simon Hadleigh-Sparks.

A huge congratulations to August’s winner Simon Hadleigh-Sparks with his entry ‘The New Icon – Adams Plaza Bridge- A Brand New World Canary Wharf ‘ Our judges loved the use of lines and angles in this capture and the way a single individual was photographed at the central point of the shot; it really draws everyone into the photo. A wonderful capture and example of symmetry. Congratulations Simon.

Runner- up

by Christopher Ley

The runner-up for August is Christopher Ley  with his capture ‘Trondheim Waterfront ’, our judges loved the overall effect of the reflection in this shot and the colours retained in this capture. Wonderful lines and a great entry.  Congratulations!
