Capture the 7 Wonders of the World
Life is all about living in the moment and capturing the best experiences. Heading down to a local landmark and taking a photo is great, however, it doesn’t quite live up to a photograph of one of the 7 wonders.
These seven global icons are the world’s number 1 tourist attractions; with hundreds of people always queuing up with their camera’s to capture the amazing artistry, craftsmanship, and above all their time there.
So be sure to pack your bags, your hiking boots and most importantly your cameras, as were taking you on another mini-adventure, only this time we’re going abroad.
Our first stop is the Roman Colosseum, in Rome, Italy. Built out of concrete sand, the Colosseum has stood for nearly 2,000 years and is one the most photographed monuments in the world. However, it can be quite challenging to get the perfect shot. The Colosseum offers great sunset and night views, which are simply unreal. This is definitely worth adding to your collection.
Our second stop is Petra in Jordan. Petra is situated between the Red sea and the Dead Sea, the rock-cut capital city of the Nabateans, was the crossroads between Arabia, Egypt, and Syria. The site is surrounded by mountains riddled with passages and gorges. This archaeological site is simply magical at night, the lanterns and night sky set the perfect scenery for a great picture.
The Taj Mahal, in India, was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shan Jahan. The marvellous white marble monument stands only when it comes to class and beauty. The monument offers a stunning view, where you can capture a moment to remember.
A historical wall that is 13,170.7 miles long, across northern china, allows you to shoot an amazing view of china’s landscape and take in all the natural surroundings. During the winter, the great wall looks like something out of a fairytale, it’s simply beautiful.
The Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil is one of the most popular icons in the world. Constructed in 1922 and 38m tall. The statue overlooks Rio and offers an astonishing panoramic view. Capture the sandy white beaches, the baby blue sea and the beautiful lively city of Rio at the pinnacle of Brazil.
Our sixth stop is Machu Picchu, situated 2,430 above sea level in Peru; this is where those hiking boots will be put to good use. The Inca citadel is set deep in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the river valley. You’ll be high amongst the clouds with a truly remarkable view, capturing the greenery and surrounding mountains, a view that many would cherish.
Our final stop is the Pyramid at Chichen Itza in Mexico. The giant pyramid is 24 metres tall and is built from solid stone and very much bears some resemblance to the Pyramids of Egypt. This Iconic figure looks great at sunset and at the right time you can capture the perfect shot.
